I just played a little bit of this game and so far it's really cute! I know it's just a demo version but that makes me excited to see how this game progresses! I think the art style is very unique and fun to look at. Is some of it drawn? It give almost a story book quality to it. Are there any other platforms youre on like twitter or something? I'd love to support in other places. Seriously I like this game

Thank you very much for your comment! It's really heartwarming and inspiring to hear such words.

As for the art, I draw all the animated characters myself, and use various free/paid assets to create the environments.

I don't have twitter yet, but I think it makes sense to start one :)

I will be also super greatful if you leave your feedback after you finish the demo.

Thanks again. Stay tuned!

Ok! I've finished the demo! Over all I really like the game and I think you have a good foundation for a really cute game. I think for the most part the environments fit really well within the world the obstacles are challenging but not overly so and the concept is really good. That being said I have a few suggestions.

1)please consider adding some sort of map that can be used. I truthfully got lost a few times in the beginning area because I didn't know where I was. I think making it a purchasable item or something would be good. It doesn't have to be a mini map(I personally am not the biggest fan of minimaps in the corner as I want to see whats going on but a map that I could bring up and figure out where I am would be really good)

2)the environments are really nice but this could just possibly be due to my monitor being wide but I would go to load a new scene and the land would just end so maybe just making sure you extended them fully? It's such a small thing and in no way diminished my enjoyment. Some of the hostile creatures did look a little out of place with the art style specifically the plants that shoot things at you. The art style looked to simple and stuck out very obviously to me. Again something small but if you tweaked it a little bit it would make the world that much better

3)I'm not sure if I skipped some important things or something but what is the story? Why are we going places? Also why is the one rat purple? Like a bright purple? again not bad just interesting

4)This is probably my biggest I wouldn't say complaint but feedback. There needs to be varied combat. I think using the tail as a weapon is clever but there is no ranged attack and some of the hit boxes are weird and force you to get super close. Please consider adding a ranged attack I think that would make boss fights just a little more enjoyable even if it's something we have to charge up or something. Again the tail as a weapon is a clever idea but I personally think it cant be the only attack because boss fights turn into just jumping close hitting then jumping away and repeat that until you win.

Over all I think it's a good demo and is very cute. It could use some polish and work in some places but I enjoyed wandering around as a little bat/rat hybrid :D

I'm happy that you enjoyed the demo :)

There is a story and lore of course, but it's not yet properly represented in the game, which I will try to fix in the future versions.

The purple color is explained by this rat itself - you just need to keep talking to them :)

As for the combat, I totally agree, and actually some of the additional combat mechanics, like "vengeful spirit-like" magic shot, setting explosive and throwing grenades, are already implemented - but they are supposed to be obtained later in the game.

Thanks a lot for your feedback!
